Hands on Science had fun today as they broke Geodes apart to get to the crystals inside.
Placing the geodes in a sock and then smashing them with a hammer, the Hands on Science campers found the crystals that reside within a geode.
These campers also had fun earlier today as they listened to a potato. Yes, you read that correctly! They plugged in some wires that allowed the current to run through the potato and through the earphones they had on.
It was definitely a full week for these young scientists as they learned about various parts of science and got to be "hands on" with all of the experiments they performed.
