The Hands on Science campers have been enjoying various types of activities every day. From learning how geodes are formed to understand the physics of a roller coaster, these campers have definitely had to put on their scientists' caps to experiment and observe.
Today, these young campers used solar reactive paper to show that science is also an art. This special paper fades in color but leaves an outline of any object left on it in sunlight.
To make their outlines, the campers combed the outdoors to find natural objects which they could use on their solar reactive paper. Once they selected their objects, the creativity showed itself as the campers thought of how they wanted their designs to look.
These campers showed that science and art go hand-in-hand and their energy today showed their excitement for more experiments tomorrow!
