Congo Camp 2010

Our young artists had a chance to get their hands dirty today by using twigs as part of the picture frames they were making. The pictures they were creating definitely showed their artistic abilities and some of the skills they have learned this week. Yesterday, these artists had the chance to create tie dye shirts which they were able to take home to wear. Their diligent work this week has definitely shown through with the projects they have made.

Yesterday, the art studio decorated caps they will be able to wear all summer. Using glitter, beads, and other materials, they made their caps decorative and fashionable. We look forward to seeing what else these campers create; they will be working on tie-dye shirts during the day today and we will have pictures available once the shirts are ready!
