Although it may look like the Hands on Science campers are preparing to clean up a mess, they actually had these paper towels prepared for an experiment.
Today, the campers tested out the strength and absorbency--among other qualities--of various paper towel brands.
"Our paper towels held 14 magnets," said one of the campers, explaining which brand was one of the strongest.
We haven't heard the results on which brands destroyed the competition, but we can't wait to find out and learn whether these brands really live up to their names!

We ended up finding out that Viva is the best brand--it cleans up well, it's strong, cheap...and softer! Bounty is more expensive AND less efficient. The school's paper towels fail horribly. It took twice as many school paper towels as any of the other brands. Yay Hands on Science!
Thanks, Hands on Science! The next time we go to the store, we know what to spend our money on now :).
