After a session of working hard, the seniors finally have completed their excellent mural. We are all excited to see it finally posted in the cafeteria. But, just in case you may not get to see the mural, here is the excellent artistic work the seniors did:
The Congo Camp seniors have been enjoying the past few days as they continue to paint the Senior Mural.
This summer's theme is Groovy Garden and the seniors have been showing their Groovy Garden spirit. Their mural is starting to look excellent as they each add their own flavor to the image.
As the mural is being painted, the Arts & Crafts counselors have been helping to guide the campers in ensuring that the mural finishes well.
Keep on the lookout for the finished mural which will be on display once completed and dried!
Congo Camp seniors are always showing the Congo Camp spirit. With the energy and enthusiasm that they display each day for camp, they definitely deserve some time for fun, rest, and relaxation.
Thus, the seniors have the Senior Room! Exactly as it sounds, the Senior Room is for seniors only and allows them time to play games and enjoy some extra downtime to connect with each other.
Today, we had the chance to peek into the Senior Room and see some of the awesome activities they get to do during Senior time.
One activity is Rock Band, while some of the others are board games and Wii.
We appreciate how our Seniors keep the Congo Camp spirit flowing and we hope they enjoy the time they get in the Senior Room!
The Senior campers have showed their Congo Camp spirit by writing a cheer for the Seniors. Sung to the tune of Miley Cyrus's, "Party in the USA", this cheer is definitely one of the catchiest ones we have heard.
