CSI Congo continued their exploration of how to get more information on a criminal by learning how to analyze DNA.
To start off on their DNA exploration, they first crushed up some strawberries and then added a salt mixture. Once this mixture and the strawberries were stirred together well, the sifting began.

The campers sifted the juice (which, in this case, had DNA extract in it) and then had ice cold rubbing alcohol added to it. Once this was added, they stirred slowly and, voila, the DNA came to the surface.
In the picture below, the DNA is the white strand within the liquid. These campers have had their detective hats on these past three days and we look forward to them continuing their investigations.
