Our Lego Campers' Lego City

Our Lego World: City Edition campers have completely finished the city and even mapped it out on a plastic lego road.

These campers worked diligently over the course of the session to complete the various aspects of the city to ensure that it was completed properly.

In this city, you have the major necessities: a car shop, a gas station, and a pizza parlor.  Each camper worked on one of the buildings and one the cars to make the city more complete.

Our Lego World: City is enjoying this beautiful Thursday morning by visiting the National Building Museum's special exhibit named, "LEGO Architecture". 

This exhibit has massive towers that are completely made out of Legos and these campers will get to see various sites such as the Sears Tower and other highrise Lego buildings.

Each of the campers is excited to go see the exhibit and we know that these Lego constructions will inspire our Lego campers as they build their city!

Our Lego World: City Edition campers have been working nonstop to make their excellent city come together before the session is over.

As these campers work hard on their city, they are also prepping for a field trip tomorrow to the National Building Museum. 

At this museum, they will get to experience a special exhibition called, "LEGO Architecture: Towering Ambition". 

The campers are excited for their field trip and even more excited to see their City be finished.  We wish them good luck on their venture!

The Lego World: City campers have been enjoying constructing the various lego sets this beginning week of the session.

They started out by making the most important part of any city: the gas station.  Once they completed the gas station, they moved on to an airport, a windmill, and other city sites.

All of the campers have been active in ensuring that all the parts click together well and properly and they are extremely energetic to complete all of the city models.

We will continue to share pictures of the various parts of the city and, once it is completed, we will be sharing pictures of the completed Lego City.

The Lego Pirate Campers have been diligently working on ships, islands, and other pirate-themed Lego Models to create a world ruled by pirates. They have finished a pirate ship and Monkey Island; furthermore, they have been continuing to work on other ships and a larger pirate-inhabited island. In only 3 days, they have accomplished many of the models they set out to build and are trying to complete all the models before the week's end. The intricate models demonstrate just how much fun these campers have been having this past week!

"These guys are part of the evil side, but the good king has gotten into the castle," explains one camper about the above picture. Lego World campers have finished many of the Lego World Castle sets and have been enjoying their time getting to play with their creations. Like the medieval world the castles replicate, they have been fighting the age-old fight of good against evil. Even though we all want to see good prevail, even the evil castles look excellent. We are glad to see these campers getting to get "hands on" with the creations they have constructed.
