Prepping, planning, and procedure are just a few of the qualities that the campers of Ropes Camp have had to have during not only the week but also during the Olympic competition today.
One of the events today was "bear tree", a test of a group's ability to work together and accomplish a goal. That goal is to get a tire onto a pole which seems simple enough, but as the counselor explains, "the difficulty is that you aren't allowed to throw the tire"--which is when the teamwork comes in.
Each team has been working together to defeat the bear tree along with the other events of the Olympics. They cheer each other to maintain a positive atmosphere during each event. We are anxiously awaiting the announcement of the winner at the end of the Olympic competition, but we commend all of the Ropes campers for their excellent teamwork during each of the events!
