Making Waves in Kayaking

Our Kayak campers will be enjoying the calming waters.

Although these campers may not be riding waves, they are definitely making them as they paddle their way through waters.

Over the course of the session, these campers have been practicing their kayaking skills off campus.

We hope they enjoy their day in the water today as they stay away from the heat in the cool waters that surround northern Virginia.

Pony adventurers in Pony Adventures

One of the wonderful horses in our
Pony Adventures family!
Our Pony Adventures campers have been enjoying the morning as they ride their way through the day as the sun rides its way through the skies.

These campers have become master riders over the course of the session, and many of these campers have developed a very familial tie with the horses over the course of the summer.

As the session slowly comes to a close, we hope these campers have fun enjoying their last two days riding the horses during summer.

Have fun, Pony Campers!

FedEx Field Fun

A shot of the FedEx field.

Three of our travel groups will be enjoying the day exploring the ins and outs of FedEx field.  Day Trippers, Congo Explorers, and Teen Travel are all excited to tour the well-known field.

While there, these campers will get to see what is behind-the-scenes at the field and meet a few of the people that keep the field running.

Our Summer Adventurers will be having just as much fun as they head over to Clemyjontri Park for the day.  We hope all of these campers have fun on their adventures today!

Getting Goals in Soccer

Our Footland Soccer campers have been enjoying this week as they continue to ensure that they have all of their new skills learned well.

These campers have been braving the heat each day as they run around and practice dribbling and kicking the soccer ball.

They have also been enjoying playing soccer games with fellow campers during the day.  We hope these campers have fun on their last two days of camp and get to have a lot of time on the field!

Our Teen Travelers will enjoy
some wet water fun!
Two of our travel camps are enjoying some food and fun today as they head out on their adventures.

Day Trippers will enjoy The Cereal Bowl and some sights and sounds of the Botanical Gardens today.

As they venture through the Gardens, Teen Travel will head out to feast at Chuck E. Cheese's or Pei Wei.  After this feast, they will then enjoy some time getting wet at the Water Park.

Wet and Wild Wednesday

The spray park our Congo Explorers
will be enjoying!
Our younger travel campers are excited to be getting both wet and walking through the wild as Wednesday rolls on.

The Summer Adventures will be enjoying the wet side of Wednesday as they make their way to Pirate's Cove Water Park.  While there, they will enjoy the large pools and fast slides that will keep them cool.

As they enjoy the water, the Congo Explorers will be enjoying the wild at the Perils of the Lost Jungle mini golf course.  Afterwards, they will get to enjoy water at the Lyon Village Spray Park.

We hope these campers have fun on their travels!

Saddling Up with Pony Adventures

Campers practicing their riding skills.
The Pony Adventures campers enjoyed their first day of riding and were excited to jump right into their second day.

Every morning, these campers get to enjoy seeing the horses happy to greet them at the barn.

The counselors have been ensuring that the proper riding techniques are well learned by the campers so that in the future these campers will always ride the horse properly.

We hope these campers have fun as they enjoy riding through their Tuesday!

Practice makes Perfect

The Kayaking campers getting their kayaks
into the water.
Our Kayak Campers continued practicing their strokes as they moved around the pool.  These campers have been building up stamina to handle the water with ease.

Today, this stamina will be quite helpful as they have a field trip to go out and kayak on natural water.

These campers can keep their kayaks afloat by showing their ability to balance well inside the boat and keep themselves going in a straight line by evening out their strokes.

We hope these campers have fun on their first day of being out on the water off campus!
