In How Things Work, campers begun their first week and ended their first day by creating a vacuum.
With only two cardboard rolls, some tape, and a straw, the camp constructors in How Things Work figured out how those useful household appliances keep our homes clean.
Today, these campers also had the chance to work with glow sticks and figure out why they light up in the dark. Over the next few days, the counselors have many activities planned for these campers and we look forward to seeing some of the other exciting things they construct and deconstruct!
